Meeting time: 10:30 AM
Plans are to meet at the Meadow Shelter. (marked in red on map)
We will not be reserving this shelter, hopefully it will be available
If for some reason that area is not available we will try for either the Place Way Picnic Area or
Huron River Site. (marked in green on map)

Exit off of I-96 – at Kensington Road - Exit #151
There is a really nice field next to the Meadow Shelter – great place to do a little field training.
Lots of hiking trails too.
The meeting is at 10:30, but come early and help us save our spot – park opens at 8:00 am.
Dress for the weather
We are unable to train our dogs at the lake due to the nesting regulations (protection of birds nesting and hatching).
As always – all park rules and regulations apply - Including leash laws and courtesy to others using the park.
A couple of pop up canopies are being brought in case we don't get a shelter.
If you have a pop up and would like to bring it just in case, it would be welcome.
Recreation Passport will be needed to enter park and can be purchased at the park. Check here for more passport information.
Misc. Info:
- Bagels will be provided. BYO drinks and whatever else you may want.
- Bring your chair in case we don't get a shelter.
- Bring bumpers for your dogs if you have them, but there will be other bumpers provided.
- Long line leashes are recommended for training in the field
