The Michigan Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club supported the American Chesapeake Club WD Event held this past September.  This event was an ACC event but without the help of the MCBRC we would not have been able to put this on.

Bred by Ranee Lehua Nevels, owned and handled by Ranee Nevels and Dave and Michelle Keehn.  Son of Hardwoods Dusty Rose I Found U SH and Shiloh Hill Aretha CD JH.  Handled to his championship by Ranee Nevels from Bred By Exhibitor class.  Albert enjoys all the arenas of competition and is a true character.

GCH** Irish's Master Jake (Irish's Cuchulain Chieftain CGC TDI x Ch. Irish's Eastern Sea Maiden) placed Fourth in the Sporting Group at the Ingham County Kennel Club show on 12-4-10 under Judge Ms. Judy Taylor.

Had a wonderful turn out of dogs for the ACC supported entry. Also had wonderful donations for trophies.

MCBRC Supported Entry -  April 10, 2010

Sorry for the delay in reporting on the MCBRC Supported entry held at the Saginaw Valley Kennel Club show.  It was around that time the website was being moved and rebuilt.  The show was great.  Long time breeder and judge Betsy Horn-Humer judged the breed and Sporting Group where Am/Can Ch. Irish’s She’s The One, bred and owned by Gary & Dorene Irish earned top honors in both competitions.
